Netzero

I just spent 25 minutes on the phone with Netzero getting charges reversed for services that were SUPPOSED to be cancelled back in March. But were not. Good news - they did reverse the charges and I should have "no further charges". Let's hope so.

I don't recommend Netzero anymore, although once I found it a great service. For the last couple years I paid for the service, it would automatically disconnect me after a set time online. It wasn't "supposed" to do this and if I asked Netzero about it, they'd say it was my phone service. However, it was predictable to the minute and it was definitely Netzero doing it. Ah well. I don't have to deal with them anymore.

High Speed Saturday

Spent lots of time today looking at movie trailers online! Woo-hoo! Couldn't do that before! Also listening to Pandora internet radio, which I adore. Everything is SO FAST.

Went to see Jumper today with a friend and our sons. My review is on Mirkwood Reflections.

On the way home, we stopped at Walmart and David bought his PSP. He is EXCITED!

That's just about all I did today. Oh yeah, I went to the library and picked up a couple DVD's and my Pride and Prejudice audiobook, which David and I listened to in the car.

I should go to sleep but I just don't WANNA. So I am watching one of my library DVD's - Wild Hogs.

At long last!

Did something today I've wanted to do for a very very very very long time.

Yep. I did it.

I ordered high speed internet.

Go Lisa! Go Lisa! Go Lisa!

It's cable internet and it will be installed on Friday. I also switched our phone service to the same company, saving us beaucoup bucks and so, for the next 6 months anyway, having cable internet and their phone service (which is regular phone service not VOIP) will actually be CHEAPER than dial-up internet and our previous phone service.

After 6 months, I will re-evaluate.

Our phone number will remain the same.
