Fly Away Home

The cockatiel has a new home. My friend Pam has been keeping him for a couple of weeks, in hopes that her husband would give permission for him to become a permanent pet. However, her husband is no more excited about having a cockatiel than MY husband has been. So, on the bird flies, to a homeschooling family with 3 teenage children.

So, we're down to just the one bunny, who lives outside. We are taking him camping with us.

Rainy Tuesday

Drippy rainy day, but not as hot as they were predicting, at least not yet.

Headed out to see Alvin and The Chipmunks today at the cheap matinee, but we couldn't get seats. Ah well. The kids were disappointed, though.

Stopped at the pet store to get better food for the cockatiel, then to the hardware store. David needed some plexiglass and spray paint for a project. Then we ate out at Quizno's. I like Subway better.

Then the kids dissected owl pellets. Will post on that at Cornerstone later tonight.

Off to work. Yippee.
