1. What are your current obsessions: Watching 17 Again clips on youtube, singing along to High School Musical soundtracks, playing Word Twist (usually badly), and tracking my calories on Sparkpeople.com.

2. Which items from your wardrobe do you wear most often? Jeans and tees.

3. What was your favorite childhood meal? TATER TOT CASSEROLE!

4. Last thing you bought? I went to the thrift store yesterday and bought myself 3 shirts and a blue hoodie. I also went to Big Lots and bought a Luna bar and a Diet Coke, as well as some hair care products.

5. What are you listening to? Some new Christian music I downloaded free from itickets.com. OK, now it's moved on to DC Talk's greatest hits. It's giving me a headache but David is pretty pleased with it.

6. If you were a god/goddess who would you be? I'd be a mortal, I'm afraid. lol

7. Favorite holiday spots? Well, if we're only counting places I've BEEN, then Port Austin, Michigan, Mackinac Island, MI, Virginia Beach, VA, and Northern California. If places I WANT to visit count, then I have a ton more.

8. Reading right now? Sex God by Rob Bell (about the connection between spirituality and sexuality) and Senior High: A Home-Designed Form-U-La by Barbara Edtl Shelton. I've devoured several good novels in just a few days and moved on to some non-fiction.

9. Four words to describe yourself? Manager, Learner, Mom, Fangirl

10. Guilty pleasures? Candy. Youtube. 80's rock. Facebook.

11. Who or what makes you laugh until you’re weak? Certain jokes. Puns. Amusing mistakes. Things my kids do.

12. Favorite things to do? Watch movies. Read. And surprisingly - exercise!

13. Planning to travel to next? I don't travel very far. LOL All my anticipated travel is within my home state of Michigan.

OK, I was tagged a long time back on facebook for this and I've been watching everyone else do their thing. So here goes. Thought I'd post it here too, for my non-fb friends.

1. I like to fall asleep on my stomach.
2. If I'm not going anywhere, I don't put on makeup and I probably won't do my hair either.

1. Is there someone you'd like to be kissing right now? If I said anyone but my husband, that would just be *wrong* lol. (keeping Penny's answer)

2. When you're being extremely quiet, what does it mean? I probably disagree with what's being discussed.

3. What are you listening to right now? The furnace running

4. Are you a big fan of thunderstorms? Yes, actually, I love thunderstorms. Like to go outside and watch!

5. Do you believe in perfect? Only God is perfect.

6. Are you a jealous person? I was going to say no. But then I thought about it, and yes, I suppose I am! lol

7. What was the first thing you thought this morning? Can I stay in bed?

8. What do you think about when you are falling asleep? Usually I pray as I am going to sleep. Other than that, I might think about the plans for tomorrow or something that happened during the day. Falling asleep doesn't usually take very long.

9. Are you satisfied with what you have in life? I try to be content with what I have, but satisfied sounds like I would be pleased to remain here forever. I have other goals and dreams to achieve, so I will keep moving, though continuing to aim for contentment at every level. I think that implies a level of thankfulness.

10. Do people ever think that you're either older or younger than you actually are? I am sometimes told I don't look as old as my actual age.

11. Do you think men truly understand women? Is this a serious question? lol My husband just told one of my Sunday School students (age 9?) that he'd been married to me 20 years and didn't understand me yet. lol

12. How about women understanding men? Yes. Much simpler.

13. Did anybody ever call you handsome or beautiful? My husband.

14. What is one fact about the last person that called you? She's always up for a good movie!

15. Other than your current one, what’s the longest relationship you have had? I assume this means a romantic relationship, since I have had platonic relationships and family relationships that are longer than my marriage which has been going for almost 24 years. But if we are considering only romance, I went out with one guy during my freshman year of college for several months. That'd be the longest apart from my husband.

1 - I call all my children Fred.

2 - I dislike games of strategy and prefer word games or games that depend on the luck of the draw or even just fast games.

3 - I could go days without going outside, especially in the winter.

4 - I love to plan gardens and look at seed catalogs and make seed orders. I intensely dislike actual gardening.

5 - I adore cats, but I haven't owned one for about 22 years. I probably will never own one as long as my husband is alive.

6 - I love history now although I really didn't "get it" when I was in school. Right now I am re-watching several of the "House" series from PBS, such as Colonial House, Regency House Party, and Frontier House.

I wrote a letter to a former coworker who surprised ME with a nice letter a few weeks ago. How sweet was that?

Nope. I have a husband to do that and two sons that can learn. If all else fails, you can pay someone to do it for $20. (OK, I guess my daughters can learn too.)

• I was the full-time stay-at-home mother of a 3-1/2 year old son and a nursing 1-1/2 year old daughter.

Going to the park with the homeschool group, going to the last day of soccer camp, and NOT going to work!

SNORT! Well, I have four kids who clean, but they don't get paid for it.

I usually do have a favorite pair, though I go through cycles. Right now it's my black flip-flops. I don't even usually like flip-flops, but these are really comfy and cute.

Greasy and topped with popcorn seasoning. However, I usually eat it healthier than that.

Cut myself with an x-acto knife when I was 14. (Edited - that was ACCIDENTAL! Don't want anyone to get the wrong idea! lol)

My window - shade half up and it's dark outside.
