Well, this was a rather empty week EXCEPT that Suzy woke up sick on Tuesday and ran a fever for 3 full days. Now she has sniffles and a cough. I did take her to the doctor - why, I don't know; they said what I thought - rest, fluids, Vitamin C. How helpful. My best guess is flu. Since she was sick, she missed her dental appointment, so she will have it this week instead.
This was also our first week off school. We "finished" Friday the 25th of May. Except we aren't REALLY finished. So June 4th will see us continuing to finish some leftover things and working on our summer lessons. But anyway, this week I let the kids sleep in as late as they wanted and I didn't make them do any "learning". They had to do their chores, though.
Monday was fun - I took the three younger kids to a local camp for their free Fun Day. Mostly they swam and we had a free lunch. Record-setting heat that day! David left to spend a couple days at a friend's house.
I have yet to actually meet with the new registrar. She keeps rescheduling on me, yet she assures me that she is not bailing.
6/3 Sunday - EMPTY CALENDAR SQUARE!!
Monday - Work 4; karate
Tuesday - Work 4; Co-op Registration, Soccer clinic (EJS)
Wednesday - Work 4, Dentist (S)
Thursday - Work 4, karate, Spring Soccer awards program
Friday - WORK 4, Park Day, Campout (S), Karate Belt Promotion
Saturday - David ACT test
At this point, I don't plan to go to the DIA on Sunday as I wrote last week. But I could be persuaded.
Co-op registration is this week for next year's classes. We are doing it much earlier than we have in the past in the hopes that we can take July COMPLETELY off from co-op stuff!
Emily's soccer awards are Thursday night; she will receive her varsity letter. Karate belt promotion is scheduled for Friday night.
David will take the ACT on Saturday. He is nervous. I hope he does very well since he is now looking at Kettering University as a possibility for next year.

I always have to smile when you refer to an "empty" week, even when you qualify it!!!
