The house right behind us (back yard neighbor) is now listed for sale. This is the neighbor that was foreclosed on. It's listed at 42,900. Sigh. Property values are so low. She bought the house for about 80K. More pix on the link. You can see our house at the far left of the pic.

We had a house 3 doors down from us for sale for $35,000 and it sold just a couple of weeks ago, I'm sure for less than that. It IS smaller than our house and the pictures made it look dirty, but still. Seriously?!?!
Wow!! That's amazing! Even in this economy I could sell my house (even though it's lost about 30% of its value) and buy that one outright and still have some money leftover. That's kind of scary!!
That certainly is a lot of house for the money, and the buyer would have such nice backyard neighbors! Love, Mom
